The birthing process has captured me. It wasn’t until my first pregnancy that I began to explore books and resources that spoke to and affirmed what is so mysterious about pregnancy, labour and birth. As I started to advocate for myself in the journey I also grew more in tune with the ancient power alive within me. The birth of my son Zander instantly became one of the proudest moments of my life. Soon after, being an ally and support for friends going through childbirth became a natural and vital role for me within my community.
Having birthed three babies of my own has allowed me to experience the unfolding inner strength and beauty within myself. It is within each of us, and with each woman and baby I serve I am witness to this again and again. I am empowered along side each of you in your journey of birth.
